1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tsp cornstarch
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter , soft
1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar , packed
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp vinegar
2 tsp red food coloring , liquid or gel
Cream Cheese Frosting
1/4 cup unsalted butter , softened
2 tbsp vegetable shortening
3 oz cream cheese , softened
1 1/2 - 2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp heavy cream , if needed.
